私の祖先は台湾総督府で働いていました。 プライバシーのため詳細は避けますが、祖先の役職のひとつに新竹州知事があります。 COVID-19危機が収束した後、彼が仕事をしていた台湾の町を訪問したいと考えています。 日本統治時代を辿りながら観光したい場合、どのような事前準備をしておくと良いでしょうか？ 日本統治時代については歴史的観点から様々な意見があると思います。 でも私は単に祖先のことを知りたいだけなのです。 なので、そういった方面での攻撃的な議論は避けてもらえると幸いです。 One of my ancestors worked at Government-General of Taiwan. While I don't mention the details for my privacy, one of his positions was the state governor of Hsinchu. When we overcome the COVID-19 pandemic, I would like to visit cities in Taiwan where he worked. I will be glad for you to tell me the best way I would arrange things before visiting, in case of sightseeing in Taiwan tracking the era of Japanese administration. Several people may have several opinions about the era of Japanese administration from the historical viewpoints, however, I would like just to know about my ancestor. So, I would appreciate if you avoid aggressive discussion from such viewpoints.
